The purpose and structure of this convention will be for fun. It's not designed to be a place where vendors come and try to get you to buy things, or for a bunch of non-related content to take up your time and the space of the facility. It's by gamers for gamers. Accordingly, the layout of the facility will be such that we can have a maximum amount of space available for game playing, on the computers provided, on any laptops people may bring, or for board/miniature gaming people might wish to do. We'll have approximately 15,000 square feet to utilize, so we should be able to accommodate everyone's wishes.

We will have 40 computers networked together, most likely in 4 "pods" of 10 computers each. At this point we don't plan on having sections designated for specific games, as all games will be loaded on all computers. As things progress though we will setup a challenge forum so people can arrange matches prior to the event. We will also want to manage utilization so that multiplayer games can take place.

You are welcome to bring your own laptop if you wish, but we will not be allowing them to be connected to the provided networks. We do this to prevent any threats like viruses or Adware from corrupting the provided computers and causing downtime.

Gary Cobleigh will be hosting the Panzer Campaigns Team Competition at this event - check out his site for more information...its totaly free if you are a paid attendee of the convention:
