By Wild Bill Wilder, Game Coordinator
[Editor's
Note: I am using the Scenario List file that
came on the SB:Pacific War game disk, as such
it appears to also be a bit Designer's Notes as well.
I've also taken the liberty to add in the map files from
the disk which serve as a key to where the various scenarios
are located at. As such, the images on this particular
disk appear to have been scanned off of paper. I've done
my best to make them legible as well as trying to provide
a reasonable loading time. Also, it has come to my attention
that the scenarios on the chart are not numbered, this
was the way it came in the file and not my omission-ST]
In
this game we have tried to provide you with enough battles
to keep you busy for awhile. There is every kind of engagement
you can imagine. By no means are they all “Take this
hill,” or “Hold this hill.” While hill
fighting did dominate the war, there was a lot more action
that we have included for you.
You’ll
be protecting convoys, making raids, launching amphibious
assaults, cutting off enemy movements, escorting prisoners
of war, making airdrops, commando attacks, ambushes, and
a host of other situations that you will thoroughly enjoy.
Although we have tried to be as accurate as possible historically,
we have also tried to make the scenarios challenging and
fun to play. You won’t always win, but you will have
a good time!
There
are also campaigns included for those who enjoy taking a
leader through a myriad of experiences on the battlefield.
The
following table lists the scenarios in chronological order.
If you wish to play them in the order that the events actually
or hypothetically occurred, use this list.
It
also provides you with the name of the scenario, the author
(by initials), the date, the location and also the size
of the scenario.
Scenario
sizes are determined by the amount of turns and the number
of units in a scenario.

through is admirable.
Well
done, Team!
